We are proud to be accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) for Environmental Microbiology and by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for Airborne Asbestos Fiber Analysis (TEM) and Bulk Asbestos Fiber Analysis (PLM). AIHA’s Environmental Microbiology Laboratory Accreditation Program (EMLAP) is specifically designed for laboratories identifying microorganisms commonly detected in air, surface and bulk samples during indoor air quality (IAQ) studies.  NVLAP, administered by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), represents the highest standard for the asbestos testing industry. AIHA and NVLAP’s accreditation systems are compliant with the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).  Sanair is also participating in the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Environmental Legionella Identification Techniques (ELITE) program to demonstrate proficiency in the identification of Legionella species.
